D.A. Designers Hosts Fall Design Party, Sponsors Young Children

Date of Release:
October, 2007

Houston, Texas based web design group D.A. Designers announced today that it would host a Fall party at its new corporate location for its employees and special guests. Although they remain true to their ideal values of employee care, the company stresses that this shindig to usher in the new season will be much more than that. "You find that a typical employee of a typical company would rather avoid going to their parties," says business consultant Max Power. "There's generally a volatile mix of booze and raffle drawing that can make things rather uncomfortable between people with professional relationships. We decided to make some changes to that." The guests of the party will be divided into different teams, each team supporting a child in rural Pakistan. The teams will compete against one another by each creating a website for a particular product. The sites will be judged on design, user friendliness, and proper optimization for major seach engines. The winning team will recieve for their child a scholarship fund for the school of their choice. "This a great opportunity for us," says technical consultant Arnold Estevez. "We've gotten as far as we have by taking adavantage of the opportunies afforded to us, and I think it's phenomenal that we can extend a helping hand out to others." The event will take place on Halloween night.
