D.A. Designers Goes Green

Date of Release:
April, 2010

In today's environmentally cautious world, companies are scrambling to show their customers that they're "going green". Houston based web design company D.A. Designers is taking a bigger step. Starting next week, the company will switch all its paper records (invoices, contracts, letters, etc) to digital files. All future company correspondance will be by email or live chat, and special e-signatures will be developed for new and existing clients. "Most companies need a paper option to serve the customers that don't have computers or internet access," says business consultant Max Power. "When you're dealing with people who want websites though, a paper option seems really wasteful." Power went on to say that this was the first step in a series of efforts that would help make the company, and even its customers, more energy efficient and environmentally conscious.
